Baby bump love and preparation

As my baby bump grew bigger and bigger, Elyza started to show more and more interest in the baby bump. I used animated videos to show this abstract concept of life growing in me ...showing Elyza how inside this baby bump is a little baby growing. Videos was the right approach since Elyza takes comfort in the virtual world through her tablet, and can make the link between the virtual world and the real physical world. She would take concepts seen in her videos to apply them in real life situations.

I backed up the video educating about pregnancy with a baby doll of the size of an actual newborn ... making sire to tell her it is a dolly and not an actual baby ... showing her how to hold, handle with care, play with, be gentle, ... in the hope that it will help Elyza understand the idea of having a baby that needs to be handled with care. I was more worries of the arms and legs pulling, and head pulling as all of Elyza's dollies got their arms, legs and head pulled out ... then someone said trust your daughter she will know that baby is a baby and not dollies ... the worries, the stretch your imagination can go, the dark scenarios, etc added to my pregnancy worries ...

Then I see Elyza coming to my baby bump and putting her head of the baby bump. A smile. A rainbow of sunshine. A strong ray of positivity. Things will be just fine.
