As the baby bump grew bigger, Elyza became more attention seeking. In a way, it was a blessing in disguise as it somehow forced her to speak up. Simple words to complete sentences or songs ...
Maybe it was the attention seeking, or maybe it was just Elyza being ready to start speaking ... she came out of her selective mutism ... it did not mean that she was fluidly talking but there were more words coming out of her mouth, and in response to her environment as well ...
I used to ask myself how do pregnant women do it carrying their child while being sooo full on pregnant. And there is was holding Elyza with one arm on my hips me being super pregnant. Elyza was really good in that she never kicked the baby bump while she was in my arms. Very promising for the future
